Hollowcore Flooring

High Quality Durable Floor Solutions
PRECAST HOLLOWCORE high quality floor solutions represent the fastest, most economical and most efficient way of installing floors and they guarantee extremely reliable quality for end users
PRECAST HOLLOWCORE products help shorten construction schedules due to their rapid installation, no propping required, the possible absence of any need for further finishing and the fact that the floors create an immediate working platform.
Another advantage is their ability for large spans that potentially reduces the number of support points required. This yields optimal design flexibility.

Precast Beams

Precast Concrete

The advantages of using precast concrete are numerous:
■    Minimal cracking
■    Durability
■    Rapid construction
■    Lower maintenance costs
■    Improved appearance
■    Lower impact from onsite weather conditions
■    The ability to inspect the concrete before it is placed in use
May eliminate the need for dewatering a lock chamber during repairs

Precast Pavement Slabs

Precast pavements slabs offer a quick and durable method of replacing pavement and returning a roadway to service quickly. Slabs are available by select manufactures as both conventional reinforced and prestressed. Precast construction involves the installation of prefabricated concrete panels on grade. The panels themselves generally provide the final riding surface for the finished pavement and do not require an asphalt or cementitious overlay. They are typically used to replace existing pavement, but can also be used for new construction or to overlay existing pavement.
Precast panels are generally provided in sizes to match the width of one, two, or three lanes of the pavement, permitting one or multiple lanes of an existing pavement to be reconstructed at one time, depending on site clearance constraints. The precast panels are generally oriented transversely to the roadway centerline, and may also include shoulders. Panels may be prestressed in both directions. The panels are installed on a prepared base, connected (dowel bars or post-tensioned) together, and opened to traffic.

Tunnel Lining & Segments

Precast Tunnel Lining is commonly used for large diameter tunnels throughout the world. The manufacture of the large, heavy components to extremely tight tolerances is a demanding task.

The tunneling industry has widely adopted segmental lining systems for the construction of tunnels. These have made the safe construction of tunnels in soft ground beneath the water table both technically and economically feasible.

Large segments with extremely stringent dimensional tolerances require the use of the highest quality steel moulds. The quality is controlled in every stage of the production from the raw materials and moulds to the workmanship at the shop floor.

Precast Railway Sleepers

Precast Railway Sleepers are another highly demanding precast component due to extremely high tolerances and quality requirements.

ADVANTAGES TO PRECAST CONCRETE

ADVANTAGES TO PRECAST CONCRETE
Since precast is manufactured in a controlled casting environment it is easier to control the mix, placement, and curing.
Quality can be controlled and monitored much more easily.
Since a precaster can buy materials for multiple projects, quantity discounts can lower costs.
Weather is eliminated as a factor-you can cast in any weather and get the same results, which allows you to perfect mixes and methods
Less labor is required and that labor can be less skilled
On site, precast can be installed immediately, there is no waiting for it to gain strength and the modularity of precast products makes installation go quickly
Repeatability-it's easy to make many copies of the same precast product; by maximizing repetition, you can get plenty of value from a mold and a set-up
Accelerated curing, by heating the precast parts, greatly increases strength gain, reducing the time between casting the part and putting it into service
With the ability to so tightly control the process, from materials to consolidation to curing, you can get extremely

durable concrete

Precast Columns

Precast Columns can be single-tier or multi-tiered as required. Use of precast columns will expedite the project, as there is no requirement to wait for the curing as there is with cast-in-situ columns.

Column connections are often made using grouted sleeves, but bolted or socket connections are also used.

Precast Stairs

Precast Stairs can be placed along with Precast Concrete Flooring giving immediate safe access to upper floors quickly and efficiently. All Precast Stair and landing units are designed in accordance with relevant BS and ACI codes.

Precast Concrete

Precast concrete is a construction product produced by casting concrete in a reusable mold or "form" which is then cured in a controlled environment, transported to the construction site and lifted into place. In contrast, standard concrete is poured into site-specific forms and cured on site. By producing precast concrete in a controlled environment (typically referred to as a precast plant), the precast concrete is afforded the opportunity to properly cure and be closely monitored by plant employees. Utilizing a Precast Concrete system offers many potential advantages over site casting of concrete. The production process for Precast Concrete is performed on ground level, which helps with safety throughout a project. There is a greater control of the quality of materials and workmanship in a precast plant rather than on a construction site. Financially, the forms used in a precast plant may be reused hundreds to thousands of times before they have to be replaced, which allow cost of formwork per unit to be lower than for site-cast production
